You chose Bromwell because it’s an extraordinary school. Year after year, Bromwell ranks among the top elementary schools in Denver Public Schools—but what truly makes it special is our people and our community.
Bromwell is a place where every child is known, supported, and inspired to grow. Our teachers show up each day ready to challenge and nurture our students—helping them discover their strengths, explore their creativity, and build confidence in who they are.
Colorado currently ranks 48th in the nation for public education funding. Simply put, the state doesn’t provide enough to sustain the kind of exceptional education we all want for our children. Funding is given on a per pupil basis - as a smaller DPS school, that means we have a smaller overall budget.
That’s where we—the Bromwell community—step in.
To deliver the education our Bears deserve, Bromwell needs to raise $240,000 this school year.
That funding directly supports:
Full-time Art, Music, and P.E. teachers (DPS only funds part-time positions)
Full Time Kinder Paraprofessionals and classroom aides who help our teachers focus on what they do best—teaching
A dedicated librarian who fosters a love of reading
Additional Mental health supports that nurture emotional well-being
And so much more that makes Bromwell truly extraordinary.
How You Can Help
In order to reach our goal of $240,000—the equivalent of $800 per student—we rely on family contributions first and foremost.
The PTA also works hard to offset that goal through:
Community business sponsorships
Dine-outs and local partnerships
Special events and fundraisers throughout the year
Every dollar, every donation, and every act of participation helps. Whether you give $20 or $2,000, it all adds up to a stronger Bromwell.
Let’s keep building—together. 💙🧡
